Rants and Raves of the Ipod Nano 5th generation with Video Recorder

As with every news that we hear, there's always bound to be different reactions. Apple's announcement of an Ipod Nano with video recorder is no different.

Let's start with the raves:

BillyB: " Interesting way for Apple to sneak through the back door into the digicam market. I like it"

Orline: "I want it!"

adeelarshad: " Ladies and gentlemen... the new ipod nano!!! its not just for music anymore."

And then, you have the rants:

Wilddigi: "Don't ***** buy it"

immatellyouwhat: "The nano can't take pictures, read the gawdam review Pedobear."

Shallot: "Get a Zune HD...FM is so yesterday..."

Stoneman: "I picked up a 30gig Zune for $75 bucks. That's a little more than the useless iPod Shuffle costs"

Geogray: "Why does everyone just assume that because Apple does something, every one will freaking want it? I bought a dslr because I wanted a nice digital camera that took great photos. I bought a digital camcorder because I wanted good video. Likewise, I bought a decent point-and-shoot camera that fits in my pocket and does 720p video as well. I don't want a so-so media player that just happens to take so-so video just because it has a piece of fruit painted on its back. And, by the way, have you seen where the bloody camera is on the Nano? It's on the freaking bottom of the device...where your hand would be covering it up. Nice design."

And then there's the pacifier:

digggggg:"Gawd you people love to whine. Seriously, when apple's products lack features, you guys take shots at it. When apple fails to release a product (tablet?) you people say that's a letdown. When apple releases a product with some bonus features, you guys bitch and moan about said bonus features.

Nobody's forcing you to buy this stuff anyway. If you think you know better, then go buy that cheaper, more feature filled and less hyped up device that you've been eyeing for the past year. That'll show them."

And finally there's also the occasional gatecrasher, who for lack of anything valuable to say, would most definitely say anything...

mac888 : "A flip whateo? who needs a flippin' stand alone miniDV?"

Interesting world out there, huh?!? Really sounds familiar.

What good is a movie if no one knows about it. Make your presence known. Connect iPod nano to your Mac, and iPhoto opens and syncs all the video you shot on iPod nano to your computer. It’s just as easy on a PC when you use your favourite photo software. On a Mac, you can browse and edit your videos in iPhoto, too.
